WHO WE ARE
We are a proud leader of youth sports in our community. In the course of a year, we serve over 500 children. We look forward to serving you and your family. The YMCA strives to provide safe, affordable, convenient, and quality programs to meet your family’s wants and needs. Our Sports programs offer your child to participate in a non-competitive league setting. We have practices for each sport once per week with a game either played on Friday evening or Saturday morning.
The YMCA Youth Sports vision is to encourage children to do their personal best in an environment geared towards developing confidence and respect for their coaches, families, peers, community, and the game they play. All of our Youth Sports Programs are non-competitive, so we can focus on the growth of the individual rather than winning and losing.
Our program is open to all boys and girls; ages 4-10. By choosing Y-sports kids will learn fundamentals, confidence, healthy competition and sportsmanship at their own pace. We don’t like to see kids “sitting on the bench” so you can be assured that all kids will get the same amount of playing time.
We offer sports at the Village of Gilberts sports fields and school for our baseball, soccer and basketball programs. Registration is open to all. We are always adding new programs.

Late registrations are taken on a first-come, first serve basis depending on availability. A late fee will be charged. Please check each individual sports page for specific registration dates and season information.
The YMCA tries its best to accommodate specific days and times for practices. Unfortunately, due to a high volume of registrations, not every request can be granted. The YMCA reserves the right to deny any request.
