Breathing & Chair Yoga
A perfect class for these times when proper breathing techniques are important – especially while having to wear a face mask. Learn several forms of “Pranayama” (Structured yoga breathing exercises) to improve oxygen intake and respiratory efficiency. Chair yoga improves circulation, reduces anxiety, protects joints, enhances balance, increases flexibility & reduces risk of injury.
If you participate in running, weight lifting, team sports or any fitness activities, come to gently stretch major muscle groups, fascia, tendons and ligaments. This class will help to keep your muscles and connective tissue supple and resistant to injury.
Hatha yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga, using body postures, breathing techniques, and meditation to help you achieve a sound, healthy body and a clear peaceful mind. Appropriate for beginners and older adults.
Yin Yoga is a quiet contemplative practice. Yin Yoga works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses. It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues, rather than the muscles. Energetically, Yin Yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs!
