Hey there! My name is Ali and I’m the Groups and Retreats Director here at Camp Edwards. While in college in 2011, I started working at a YMCA camp in Iowa. I intended to work just one summer but immediately fell in love with camp and haven’t really left the camping world since. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 2013, I spent time working in camping and outdoor education in Colorado and Minnesota before coming to Camp Edwards in 2015. I love the atmosphere and the impact camp can have on a person’s life and I’m excited to continue serving others here in the best classroom there is, the great outdoors!

In my free time I love hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, or just relaxing in my hammock with a good book. I also enjoy playing almost any sport or board game and cheering on the Packers, Brewers, and Twins.
